What a lovely tribute. Daughter should rightfully be proud of mother, and vice versa.

By the way, my mother once told me that if I stayed up too late, my face would grow long. I mean, does that even make sense?

Hope you had a happy mother's day!

lol..I've haven't heard that one before. But phew...with me being such a night owl...I'm glad it isn't true!! haha

I had a great mother's day..thanks...hope you had a great day also!

Young women who understand that love is not about perfection. It's about imperfection. It's about loving each other anyway. Anyone can love during the good times, but it's through the bad times that loves strength shows through.

This is as succinct a description of what love should be as I have seen in a long time.

Good! :-)
Love is the Greatest...

I created my new blog space to share the private me. A big part of it being a Mom. Tears are welling up as I read this article today long after you posted it. And in the midst of my chaos, it touched me. For the gnawing doubts I live with as a mother and for the mother I lost when I was young. It's too bad the link to your daughter's column is gone. A woman told me I have about 7-10 years before my daughters appreciate me. :)
